In this century we are seeing technology expand in a variety of areas and we have more to look forward to more advancement in the years to come. The biggest advancements we have seen are in how technology has become mobile in comparison in recent decades. This ranges from the way we use our phones to how computer technology has been intagrated into every part of our life.

TVs, cell phones, video game systems, and even some other off the wall products now are miniature computers. They contain hard drives and processors as advanced as any desktop. What this means is that now we have access to the internet in a variety of areas and in ways we have never thought about before. Many video game systems even contain web browsers that allow you to check your mail, social networking pages, and even do your work between gaming sessions. This is all a major leap in advancement compared to where this technology started.

Computers at one point in time would take up multiple rooms and require constant maintained. These machines were thought to be a massive advancement for their time but as time gore on computers have gotten more and more compact. Even high powered super computers now fit on desktops and don’t require hourly maintenance. Huge technological leaps will continue as we go through this current century.

As processors become better and more compact we will see computers that are as small as a cell in a few years. Nano machines are the way of the future and will provide us with a new way to cure diseases and will even allow us to live longer. Technology spirals upward in the twenty-first century and it will lead to a better tomorrow for all of us as long as we are willing to work for our future.
